Battery doesnt work :(

Hi i have an Asus g50v a2 notebook. I had it for 4 years. the battery that came with it, needs to be replaced (it dies in 25-30 mins). So i bought a new battery that was compitable with my laptop. It worked for a day and all of a sudden my computer turned off while the battery was 89% left and it wouldnt turn on. So i pluged it in and it turned on but as soon as i remove the power it turns off instantly. So i contacted the company i bought the battery from and asked for a replacement. I got my replacement battery today and it worked fine for 5 minuntes this time and the same thing happened. Is it the problem with my batteries or laptop?.

also my old battery works fine. and if i put the new battery and plug my laptop n turn it on i see that the battery is charging fine or charged to a 100%.
My brother has the same laptop as me and the battery does not work on his laptop either.

According to your description, maybe this battery have compatible problem with your laptop

Its the same model as my old battery. It worked for 1 day firts time and 5 mins second time.

Please order it again. the battery life is about 5 year.

The new laptop battery have a little problems.
