The Batteries are Gaining Flexibility Graphene
The next revolution in the storage of electrical energy we could come to Korea with deformable and bendable batteries.
Yet it is not specifically the area "green" which is the source of this development, since the raison d'être of these batteries is mainly entertainment.
It's a fact: today's technological advances ecological focus all more or less the same lines, replacing the use of fossil fuels through the use of electricity.
This power whose origins are more or less clean then has no choice but to be stored in lithium batteries, no other way today, whether it be wind or solar panels can not be sufficiently profitable and continues to supply a device such as a car.
Often disabling because of their fragility, weight and autonomy, batteries are the subject of considerable advances in recent years, and these are researchers at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) offering a powerful and flexible.
Their battery consisted (among others) graphene offer the feature of being foldable and absorb some shocks. And it is interesting insofar as they offer better performance than lithium ion batteries currently used widely in various fields.
This new kind of power battery should be associated initially with flexible OLED displays that we are promised for some years now, but when you know the difficulty of the layout of the lithium iron phosphate battery for a car manufacturer, we can hope to see this technology into general use a little more speed the transition to all electric.
